Composed of highly qualified and experienced faculty, the department delivers exceptional training with real-time clinical application by utilizing the facilities of the institute’s research hospital. Innovation in areas such as pharmacovigilance, clinical pharmacy outcomes, and drug utilization evaluation is highly encouraged for B.Pharm students. Throughout students are immersed in basic classroom and ICT-enabled learning environments, which transform into rapid, rigorous training involving hands-on experience in medication chart reviews, prescription analysis, patient counseling, and drug information services.

Students are exposed ward-based clinical discussions beyond traditional laboratory presentations and integrated into the institute’s research hospital, gaining continuous experience in real-world healthcare settings. Every student undergoes a dedicated training for a minimum period of 150 hours. This practical training is further fortified by the institute’s PVPI Centre, Drug Information Centre, and Materiovigilance Centre, where students gain mastery in adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting, medication error documentation, and medical device safety monitoring.
