Department of Pharmaceutics provides platform for research and development in innovative pharmaceutical technologies in the formulation/process of various conventional and novel drug delivery systems with ethical standards. Pharmaceutics department is composed of highly qualified and experienced faculty who provide the best possible training to the students both in theoretical and practical aspects. Nanotechnology, novel drug delivery systems are encouraged as research topics for fourth year B Pharmacy students. Students are exposed to basic classroom and ICT enabled teaching and learning activities during their first years of study, and then receive rapid and rigorous training with hands-on experience on many topics like Design of Experiments (DoE) throughout their later years of study. The Department of Pharmaceutics provides a venue for more interactive sessions between faculty and students. Apart from classroom and laboratory presentations, tutorial sessions are well-organized in practice. Every student shall undergo practice school for a minimum period of 150 hours and shall undertake research project in the seventh and eight semesters in order to fulfill their academic curriculum.
